Job description

We are seeking passionate and skilled Commis Chefs to join our dynamic kitchen team specializing in Chinese, Indian, and Continental cuisines. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in food production, assisting senior chefs in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. You will be responsible for handling mise en place, which includes cutting, chopping, marination, and basic food preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintaining food quality, taste, presentation, and portion consistency is essential in this role. You will also adhere to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Candidates should have relevant experience in hotels, restaurants, QSRs, catering, or institutional kitchens. Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to assigned cuisine and standardized recipes.
• Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen operations and service preparation.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and FIFO practices in the kitchen.
• Support cooking operations by preparing ingredients, sauces, gravies, stocks, and basic dishes.
• Ensure cleanliness of the workstation, kitchen equipment, and utensils.

Required Skills
