Job summary

Brik Oven in India is seeking a Commis 3 to be the backbone of our kitchen, assisting in pre-opening and post-closing duties, keeping a tidy workspace, and supporting pizza making and beverage blending. You will help maintain quality, monitor inventory, rotate stock, and address expired items, while updating ingredients and equipment availability.

Applicants should have basic English, and prior kitchen experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing in English.
• 10th standard pass preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous kitchen/food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, finishing and presentation of all food products meet standards.
• Conduct regular tastings of ingredients and adjust flavors as needed.

• Conduct regular tastings of ingredients and prompt adjustments as necessary to maintain flavor consistency and quality.
• Monitor and optimize preparation time to ensure efficient production while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate and manage the pizza oven effectively to achieve optimal baking results.
• Maintain knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas to the production process.
• Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting physical stock counts, and reconciling closing stock.
