Job summary

Siemens in Kolkata seeks an experienced Commercial Project Manager to drive end-to-end commercial activities for project execution and to achieve financial KPIs aligned with budget and forecast.

You will review projects, report to local and global management, establish contract conditions with customers and partners, assess risks, manage costs, and handle contract and claim management, with potential involvement in pre-sales bidding.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years in commercial operations/ CPM.
• B.Com Graduate with Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance/ CA/ ICWA or any equivalent.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end commercial activities relating to the execution of the project.
• Achieving all the Financial KPIs in line with the Budget and Forecast such as Revenue, Profits, Cash and other financial aspects relating to the projects would be of utmost priority.
• Project review and timely reporting both to SI local management and global management would be a part of the role.
• Establishing the commercial and legal contract conditions with both customers and consortium partners and sub-contractors.
• Identification and financial evaluation of opportunities and risks, definition and implementation of appropriate measures for mitigating risks or exploring opportunities as well as establishment of reserves for remaining risks with the support of the PM.
• Monitoring, controlling and updating of project costs, risks, billings, invoicing, accruals, provisions, hedging, bank guarantees, insurance, taxation and project report.
• Proactively set up an efficient contract and claim management in the project.
• You may also get opportunities for sales commercial activities during the pre-sales, bidding phase of some of the opportunities.
• You are an Experienced Commercial Project Manager with hands-on experience of 4 to 5 years in commercial operations/ CPM.
• The role is based out of Kolkata Location.
