Job summary

Resonate Manpower Services Bangalore is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Manager for our Bangalore Plant. The role requires 20 to 25 years of experience in import/export, customs, GST and related compliance, with a strong focus on end-to-end supply chain management and licensing.

You will independently handle customs clearance, bonding/de-bonding, documentation, GST filings, and interaction with government officials to ensure adherence to foreign trade policy and tariff changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export, customs and compliance required.
• Knowledge of GST, foreign trade policy and government schemes (e.g. EPCG, RODTEP) advantageous.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain and documentation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Customs clearance of imports/exports, bonding, de-bonding and related documentation.
• GST compliance activities including returns and filings; monitor amendments in laws.
• End-to-end management of Advance licenses and EPCG licenses to obtain EODC and export incentives.
• Interaction with government officials and compliance with policy changes; ensure proper HSN codes and duty drawback.

Education: Degree in Commerce with PG Diploma in Materials Management, Import/Export or Taxation/ MBA- International Business or Foreign Trade

Domain Expertise: Import, Export, Customs, Advance license, EPCG, JDGFT, SVB, GST, FTP, Tariffs and HSN, Government Schemes like PLI, ECMS, EOU, DDB, RODTEP etc

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:

Independent handling of all the below activities

Customs clearance of Imports/ Export, bonding, de-bonding activity, customer invoicing and all documentation associated with it, GST documentation, returns, bonds, audits, certifications etc.; Supply Chain Management of re-sale items, end to end Management of Advance & EPCG License obtaining to get EODC, Export incentives, Compliance management, interaction with Govt. officials. End to end GST activities (GSTR1, 3B, 2B, 9, 9C, etc..), regular monitoring and implementation of new amendments in laws, Compliance with foreign trade policy, Monitoring and ensuring applicability of tariff changes, ensuring proper HSN codes, Duty drawback, RODTEP etc

Excellent leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and team management are critical.
