Job summary

NKG India Coffee Hassan, India, is seeking a Coffee Quality Coordinator to lead roasting, cupping, and customer sample preparation. You will record cupping scores, maintain lab cleanliness, and support the Quality Head in developing robust quality protocols.

The role requires a degree in PGDCQM or related field, 1-3 years in roasting, cupping, or quality operations, and strong sensory skills. You will work in a fast-paced team, ensure traceability, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate in PGDCQM or related field or relevant experience in coffee quality.
• 1-3 years of roasting, cupping, or quality operations (coffee industry preferred).
• Strong sensory skills and basic understanding of green coffee attributes.
• Knowledge of cupping protocols (SCA or company standards).

Responsibilities

• Roasting & cupping: daily sample roasting, cupping sessions, record scores and notes.
• Customer sample preparation & dispatch: label, traceability, and timely shipping of samples.
• Quality monitoring & documentation: track deviations, update logs and quality records.
• Operational support: assist quality projects and maintain safety and equipment handling.
