Job summary

Jobitus in India is seeking a skilled VMC operator to manufacture precision components. You will set up machines, load tools, fixture parts, and adjust offsets for each production run, ensuring adherence to drawings and tolerances.

You will inspect parts using calipers and gauges, maintain production records, report tool wear or faults, and collaborate with QC and production teams to meet daily targets while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Machinist / CNC Operator or equivalent technical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate VMC machines to manufacture precision mechanical components.
• Perform machine setup, tool loading, fixture setup, and offset adjustments for production runs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional tolerance.
• Conduct in-process inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain production records and machine parameter documentation.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, tool wear, or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and quality standards during operations.
• Coordinate with the quality control and production teams to meet daily production targets.
