Xelentra is seeking a CNC Programmer Cum Operator for its manufacturing unit in Coimbatore to design and program CNC operations, set up machines, and ensure timely production of precision components across diverse projects.

The ideal candidate holds BE in Mechanical or a Diploma/ITI with 2–4 years of hands-on experience, willing to work rotational shifts, and ready to join immediately. Food and accommodation are provided.

Qualifications

• BE - Mechanical / Diploma / ITI with 2–4 years of experience.
• Proficient in CNC programming and machine setup.
• Knowledge of quality control and documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Programming: Writing and modifying CNC programs from blueprints and specs.
• Setup: Prepare CNC machines with tools and fixtures for production.
• Operation: Run machines, monitor processes, adjust as needed to meet quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts and ensure conformance with specs.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain records of settings and program changes.
• Maintenance: Ensure machines are cleaned and properly maintained.

• A CNC Operator Cum Programmer is responsible for both operating CNC machines and creating the programs that instruct them. This involves setting up machines, programming them, and ensuring the quality of the finished product. They need a strong understanding of CNC programming, machine operation, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming: Writing and modifying CNC programs based on blueprints and specifications.
• Setup: Preparing the CNC machine for operation, including selecting and installing tools, fixtures, and work pieces.
• Operation: Operating the CNC machine according to the programmed instructions, monitoring the process, and making adjustments as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts using measuring instruments and ensuring they meet quality standards.
