Aerspace & Defence Listed company in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced CNC milling operator. You will set up machines for various axis operations, input control instructions, and ensure programs match drawings and tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in CNC milling, with strong knowledge of 2D programming, G/M codes, and blueprints. Responsibilities include tool setup, offsets, metrology, and basic maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC milling operations.
• Knowledge of 2D programming and associated toolpaths.
• Familiarity with G codes & M codes for setup and operation.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret blueprints.
• Experience taking work offsets and basic metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for 3-axis to 5-axis operations (VMC/CNC).
• Input control instructions and verify program blueprints for accuracy.
• Install tools and fixtures; replace worn tools.
• Use network links for CNC command transmission from computer servers.
• Take precise measurements using gauges and micrometers.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines in good condition.
• Change switches, cylinders and other components as needed.
• Ensure correct interpretation of blueprints and G/M codes.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• 3 Axis/ 4 Axis / 5 Axis / VMC / CNC operators required.
• Set-up computerized machines to perform machine functions on work piece
• Input control instruction into the machine.
• Evaluate program blueprints to outline machine operations and dimensions.
• Install machine tools and gadgets using manual working tools.
• Replace old machine tools when worn-out with new ones
• Make use of network links to ensure transmission of command from computer servers to computer numerical control modules
• Take accurate measurements of workpiece and gauges for production
• Carryout maintenance measures to ensure good condition of machines
• Change or replace switches and cylinders
• Good knowledge of set-up and operation
• Good knowledge of blueprints and micrometer
• Good knowledge of edits and G-Codes, M-Codes
• Have basic knowledge of production material

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 year of experience in CNC Milling operating
• Good Knowledge in 2D programming
• Good Knowledge on G codes & M codes
• Drawing Knowledge
• Experience in taking Work Off-sets
