Job summary

Ensinger India Engineering Plastics Private Limited is seeking a CNC Milling Operator to operate and set up milling machines, read technical drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. You will perform tool changes, setup, and coordinate with quality teams.

The role involves daily machine checks, adherence to 5S, and collaboration with the engineering and QA teams to resolve any technical issues. Prior experience in plastics or precision components is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate CNC milling machinery, read drawings, and maintain accuracy.
• Experience with quality checks using calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Follows safety standards and can work in shifts if needed.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CNC parameters.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC milling machines according to drawings and programs.
• Perform machine setup, workholding setup, tool installation and offset adjustment.
• Conduct in-process and final dimensional checks using measuring instruments.
• Deburr parts and ensure edges and surfaces meet drawings and workmanship requirements.
• Clean finished parts and prepare them for inspection, packing and shipment.
• Pack finished goods, apply labels and assist with loading or dispatch.
• Carry out daily machine checks, 5S and report abnormalities.
• Coordinate with CNC Programmer/IE Engineer and Quality for technical issues.

Role Description

• Operate and set up CNC milling machines according to approved drawings, programs and process instructions.
• Perform machine setup, workholding setup, tool installation, tool offset adjustment and first-piece preparation.
• Conduct in-process and final dimensional checks using applicable measuring instruments.
• Deburr finished parts and ensure edges, threads and surfaces meet drawing and workmanship requirements.
• Clean finished parts and prepare them for inspection, packing and shipment.
• Pack finished goods, apply identification labels and support loading or dispatch when required.
• Carry out daily machine checks, basic cleaning, 5S and abnormality reporting.
• Coordinate with the CNC Programmer / IE Engineer and Quality Department for technical or quality issues.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance of CNC milling machinery.
• Candidates should possess Milling and Machining skills, with the ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including inspection of parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Candidates should possess experience working with industrial Machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Relevant technical qualification (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Production, or related field is preferred.
• Experience operating CNC milling machines, ideally in plastics or precision components manufacturing, is an advantage.
• Ability to follow safety standards, work in shifts if required, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CNC programming or parameter adjustments are beneficial.
