Job summary

KSB invites applications for an Associate (Part of Employee Association) in the Machine Shop at Khandala MIDC, Kesurdi, Maharashtra. The role involves operating turning, milling and grinding on both conventional and CNC machines.

The candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have 4–8 years of experience, with knowledge of CNC programming and ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO18001, 5S and Kaizen. Will maintain tools, fixtures and quality reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering only.
• 4–8 years of professional experience.
• Experience with CNC machine operation and heavy component machining.
• Knowledge of turning, milling, grinding, EDM, and lapping processes.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO18001 systems.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen.
• Good communication, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out machine operation for Turning, Milling, Grinding on Conventional and CNC Machine.
• Create and Store CNC Program on Machine and PC.
• Maintain all Jigs and fixtures.
• Completion of report on production order.
• Carry out machine loading unloading and material movement and deburring of components.
• Carry out any other work required for Job assigned by supervisor.
• Component inspection and inspection report preparation.
• Assist operators on another machine whenever required.
• Maintain ISO9001, OHSAS, EMS and 5S at shop.
