Tata Electronics (TEPL) in Tamil Nadu invites a BE Mechanical/BE Production or Diploma holder with NC/CAD-CAM tooling expertise to join our tooling team. You will drive cost reduction projects, improve quality and productivity, monitor tool performance, and coordinate with suppliers for new tool designs.

You will prepare tool drawings, routings, process sheets, SOPs and lead cycle-time improvements. Strong knowledge of machining centers, fixtures, and measurement methods is essential to ensure

Competenze

• BE Mechanical or BE Production or Diploma in Mechanical with tooling exposure.
• Basic knowledge of Unigraphics NX CAD-CAM and AutoCAD is preferred.
• Experience with metal cutting processes and fixture concepts.

• Co-ordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning process planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications
• Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge on measurement techniques.

Preferred candidate profile

BE Mechanical / BE Production / DME Basics knowledge about UNIGRAPHICS NX CAD-CAM VERSION12 /1926 / 1953 , AutoCAD 5-7 years of experience (BE)
8-10 years of experience (Diploma) 1.He/ She should have knowledge & experience of various metal cutting processes like –Milling, Drilling, boring, slitting etc
2.Should know Machining fixture concept, various cutting tools & holders required for above operation. Knowledge of cutting parameters needed for Aluminum alloys is must.
3.Basic knowledge of FANUC control, Part prove out, New tool try-out
4.Basic knowledge on measurements methods, Trimos, CMM, OMM etc
5.Basic Knowledge on Data
