Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited is seeking a CNC Programmer (Rotor machining) at Hazira Mfg Complex. 5–10 years of CNC programming experience for milling and turning is required, with strong drawing interpretation and manufacturing process knowledge.

You will work with Fanuc and Siemens controls, use AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and contribute to ISO/QMS/EHS standards while collaborating with engineering teams. Shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 5-10 years of experience in CNC programming of milling machines and turning machines.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings reading.
• Experience with large horizontal boring machines, vertical lathes, and vertical milling machines.
• Knowledge of CNC programming with Fanuc and Siemens controls.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC for milling and turning operations on rotor machining pieces.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures to set up tooling.
• Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and optimize cutting parameters.
• Collaborate with engineers and other teams to ensure on-time production.
• Maintain ISO/QMS/EHS awareness and conform to quality standards.

Job Description

At least 5-10 years of experience in CNC programming of milling machines and turning machines.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Good Knowledge of Engineering drawing reading.

Experience of working with Large Horizontal boring machines, Vertical lathes, Vertical milling machines.

Knowledge of latest Tooling and its cutting parameters

Knowledge of CNC Programming Fanuc and siemens control.

Proficient in using software such as AUTOCAD, SolidWorks, etc.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other engineers.

Trouble Shooting

Trouble shooting in shop floor for the day-to-day execution.

Study drawing/ Procedures /reference line sketches/weld plan / test plan/weekly shift plan/ planning documents.

Awareness of ISO standards like QMS, EMS, EHS.

Should be able to work in different shift.
