Job summary

Ultra Corpotech Pvt. Ltd. in Pune district seeks a CMM Engineer with 2-3+ years of experience in quality assurance. The role focuses on operating portable CMMs (Hexagon Absolute Arm 2.5 m and 4.0 m) and Laser Tracker, performing measurements to drawing requirements.

You will set up fixtures, inspect fabricated and machined parts, and work with GD&T, Polyworks Inspector, and PC-DMIS to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold DME or BE in relevant engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensions and Tolerancing).
• Hands-on experience with Polyworks Inspector software (operation and programming).
• Hand-on experience with PC-DMIS software (operation and programming).
• 2–3+ years of CMM inspection experience for fabrication or machining parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable CMMs, including Absolute Arm 2.5 m and 4.0 m (Hexagon).
• Operate Laser Tracker CMM (AT-500 Hexagon).
• Set up fixtures and inspect parts per drawing requirements.

1. Independent operating Portable CMM-Absolute Arm 2.5 meter (Hexagon make)
2. Independent operating Portable CMM-Absolute Arm 4.0 meter. (Hexagon make)
3. Independent operating Laser Tracker CMM (AT-500 Hexagon make)
4. Set up fixtures, fabricated & machining parts checking as per drawing requirement.

Qualifications & Skills

1. DME or BE completed candidate must.
2. Deep knowledge of GD & T (Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances)
3. Good experience with Polywork Inspector Software (Operating +Programming)
4. Good experience with PC-DMIS Software (Operating +Programming)
5. 2 to 3+ year CMM inspection experience for fabrication / machining parts.

Key Competencies

1. Handling / operating the other measuring instruments also like Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Caliper, Roughness Tester.
2. Good command on Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Knowledge

1. Well knowledge of GD & T.
