Job summary

Raptee.HV in Chennai invites a CTG and CMF Design Intern to work on live motorcycle programs, from the T30 platform to next-gen concepts. You will help design decals, graphics, and finishes across concept and production models.

You should be pursuing or recently graduated in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or CMF Design, with a portfolio demonstrating color, material, and graphic sensibilities. Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator and rendering skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/recent degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, CMF Design, or related field.
• Portfolio showing colour, material, and graphic design sensibility.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator and rendering skills.
• Genuine interest in motorcycles and manufacturing processes (paint, plastics, textiles, finishing).
• Strong visual communication; comfortable with fast iteration.

Responsibilities

• Design decals, graphics, and livery schemes across concept and production models.
• Research and propose materials, paint finishes, and trim treatments for panels, seats, and components.
• Build CMF/CTG mood boards and palettes aligned to product positioning.
• Benchmark competitor colour, trim, and material strategies.
• Prepare material swatches, sample boards, and finish call-outs for supplier and prototype reviews.
• Support design review documentation decks, comparison sheets, references.

Raptee.HV is a full‑stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no‑compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter‑only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Raptee.HV is hiring a CTG (Colour, Trim, Graphics) & CMF (Colour, Material, Finish) Design Intern to work on live motorcycle programs — from our T30 platform to next‑gen flagship concepts.

Role Overview

• Design decals, graphics, and livery schemes across concept and production models.
• Research and propose materials, paint finishes, and trim treatments for panels, seats, and components.
• Build CMF/CTG mood boards and palettes aligned to product positioning.
