Job summary

Raptee in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, invites an enthusiastic UX/UI Design Intern to help design apps, dashboards, and interfaces riders will love, spanning mobile and HMI. You will translate battery stats and ride analytics into clear visuals, prototype ideas, and iterate quickly with peers across product, engineering, and design teams.

Working in a fast-paced startup, you’ll learn modern design systems, collaborate to shape the rider experience, and contribute to real products.

• Currently pursuing or Bachelors in CS, IT, Design or related field.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.
• Passion for solving complex design challenges and creating exceptional user experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview:

We’re not just building Motorcycles, we’re building smart machines that vibe with their riders. To pull that off, we need design minds who can mix logic with aesthetics, function with feelings. As a UX/UI Design Intern at Raptee, you won’t just design screens you’ll design experiences riders flex about after every ride. From apps to dashboards, your pixels will set the tone for the future of riding.

What You Will Do:

• Design apps, dashboards, and interfaces that riders will love using every day making every ride smoother, smarter, and more engaging.

• Work across platforms, from our mobile app to the motorcycle’s HMI, creating a seamless rider-first journey.

• Keep learning and growing by experimenting with new tools, methods, and design trends.
• Contribute to evolving our design systems with your unique perspective.

Requirements:
