Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a Cluster Testing Engineer in Bengaluru to validate Instrument Panel Clusters and embedded automotive systems. You will perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing, and help build automation scripts with CAPL and Python.

The role requires 3–6 years of hands-on experience with CAN, CAPL scripting, and CANoe/CANalyzer, as well as knowledge of UDS, CAN FD, and LIN protocols.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in Instrument Panel Cluster Testing.
• Strong experience in CAN and CAPL Scripting (Must Have).
• Good hands-on experience in Python Automation.
• Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer tools.
• Knowledge of UDS Diagnostics, CAN FD, LIN protocols.
• Experience in Functional, System, Integration, and Regression Testing.
• Strong debugging and log analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing of Instrument Cluster/IPC systems.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases based on customer and system requirements.
• Analyze CAN communication logs and validate cluster behaviors, telltales, warnings, chimes, and graphical displays.
• Develop and enhance test automation scripts using CAPL and Python.
• Perform ECU diagnostics and validation using CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects through defect management tools.
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams for issue debugging and root cause analysis.
• Support test reporting, documentation, and customer deliveries.
