Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Bengaluru is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to contribute to the Green Lake platform. The role is designed as onsite with expectation to work from an HPE office.

You will help design, develop and operate scalable cloud services using Python, Java or Golang, with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud providers like AWS/Azure. Collaborate across teams to deliver robust SaaS solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's (B.E./B.Tech) or Master (M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science or related fields.
• Proven record of Python/Java/Golang programming.
• Experience developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Sonnet, etc.
• Solid grasp of data structures, object-oriented design, distributed computing and cloud computing paradigms.
• Ability to think and operate as a team player.
• Day-to-day working knowledge of contemporary source code development tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, including with remote teams.
• Ability to learn complex technology quickly in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Must be able to multi-task, manage details and keep sight of overall objectives.

In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. Responsibilities

• Ability to build from ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications and always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.
• Able to bring technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Provides innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple teams , disciplines and work groups.
• Champions large projects that affect the company's long-term goals and objectives.
• Very strong background implementing SaaS and distributed systems.
• Responsible for designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable applications and web services in Python, Java or Golang environment.
• Few years with distributed systems in a production environment, architecting scalable and resilient cloud services.
• Strong experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of frameworks like Spring , Flask, FastAPI and transport protocols like WebSockets, gRPC etc.
• Well versed with architecting cloud applications that run on popular public cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
• Ability to mentor and technically lead small teams to achieve big things.
• Ability to deploy various techniques to ‘scale’ an application in a cloud environment.
• Have Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Data Sources : Redis, Kafka, Postgres, DynamoDB & Cassandra
• Infrastructure: Docker and Kubernetes, AWS, Azure and Bare-metal.
• Metrics and logs: OpsRamp, Elasticsearch-Logstash-Kibana, Humio, Grafana and Prometheus.

What you need to bring

• Education and Experience Required: Relevant industry experience of 3+ Years. Minimum education at Bachelors (B.E. / B.Tech) or Master (M.E. / M.Tech) level in Computer Science or related fields.
• Knowledge and Skills: Proven record of Python/Java/Golang programming, contributing to released software.
