Qualifications

• クラウド/インフラ/プラットフォームエンジニアリングで5–8年の実務経験があること
• Terraform, Microsoft Azure, Azure Resource Manager の概念、およびインフラ自動化の強い実務経験があること
• AKS/ACR/App Services/Storage Accounts/Key Vault のデプロイ経験があること

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to help design, build, and support Azure cloud platforms using Terraform as the preferred Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS, cloud networking, automation, and security best practices.

This role is focused on implementing scalable cloud foundations, enabling application teams through standardized cloud patterns, and supporting secure, automated deployments across enterprise Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and reusable templates for Azure infrastructure deployment.
• Support environment provisioning across Development, Test, and Production landscapes.
• Implement Terraform state management, code reviews, and deployment governance practices.
• Assist with infrastructure standardization and automation initiatives.

2. Azure Platform & PaaS Engineering

• Deploy and support Azure services including AKS, App Services, Azure Storage, SQL, Key Vault, and Container Registry.
• Assist with containerized application deployments and platform operations.
• Support Azure platform modernization initiatives and cloud-native adoption.

3. Cloud Networking & Security

• Implement and troubleshoot Azure networking solutions including:
  • Virtual Networks (VNets)
  • Hub-and-Spoke architectures
  • NSGs and UDRs
  • Private Endpoints and Private DNS
  • VPN and ExpressRoute connectivity
• Work alongside security teams to implement enterprise security controls and firewall policies.

4. Automation & Platform Enablement

• Build scripts and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Develop self-service deployment patterns and reusable infrastructure templates.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks and platform documentation.

5. DevOps & CI/CD Integration

• Integrate Terraform deployments with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement deployment validation, code quality checks, and automated infrastructure testing.
• Support secure credential and secrets management using Azure Key Vault.

6. Governance & Compliance

• Implement Azure best practices around:
  • RBAC
  • Resource tagging
  • Monitoring and logging
  • Cost management
  • Security guardrails
• Ensure cloud deployments align with enterprise architecture and security standards.

7. Platform Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, AKS clusters, networking, and deployment issues.
• Support upgrades, patching, and operational maintenance activities.
• Participate in cloud platform incident resolution and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

Technical Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Terraform
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Azure Resource Manager concepts
  • Infrastructure Automation

Azure & Containers

• Experience deploying and supporting:
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Container Registry (ACR)
  • Azure App Services
  • Storage Accounts
  • Azure Key Vault
• Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, ingress/egress, networking, and cluster operations.

Networking

Strong understanding of:

• Azure Virtual Networking
• Hub-and-Spoke architecture
• NSGs and UDRs
• Load Balancers
• Private Link and Private Endpoints
• DNS concepts
• VPN and ExpressRoute connectivity

Security

Experience implementing:

• RBAC and least-privilege access
• Managed Identities
• Key Vault integration
• Logging and monitoring standards
• Security and compliance best practices

Scripting & Automation

Experience with one or more of:

• PowerShell
• Bash
• Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications such as:
  • AZ-104
  • AZ-305
  • AZ-400
  • AKS/Kubernetes certifications
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewall concepts and cloud security controls.
• Exposure to Cloudflare, Front Door, WAF, APIM, and cloud ingress architecture.
• Understanding of FinOps and Azure cost optimization practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively across Platform, Security, Networking, and Application teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to document solutions, processes, and operational procedures clearly.
• Self-driven with a passion for automation and cloud engineering best practices.
