Job summary

TalentXpert seeks an experienced Cloud Architect/DevOps Lead to design scalable AWS infra for enterprise SaaS. You will drive automation with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD while ensuring observability with OpenTelemetry.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams, and lead incident response to minimize downtime in Pune, India.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Hands-on with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and ArgoCD.
• Strong containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging for distributed systems with OpenTelemetry.
• Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production environments.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience designing AI-driven DevOps agents for automation and remediation.
• Track record improving developer experience with self-service tooling and automation.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Architect and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS to support enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Automation and CI/CD: Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and deployment tools (ArgoCD).
• Observability and Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks for distributed systems using OpenTelemetry and related tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and compliance.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, contribute to cloud strategy, governance, and best practices.
• Incident Management: Lead incident response and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and deployment automation tools (ArgoCD).
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging for distributed systems using OpenTelemetry.
• Proven hands‑on experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in production environments, with strong diagnostic and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Hands‑on experience designing, integrating, or operating AI-driven DevOps agents for use cases such as CI/CD automation, incident triage, infrastructure operations, or remediation.
• Demonstrated experience improving the overall developer experience by simplifying workflows, reducing delivery friction, and enhancing internal platforms, self-service tooling, and automation.
• Experience building self‑healing infrastructure using DevOps agents that detect anomalies, diagnose root causes, execute and validate automated remediation, and apply appropriate guardrails or human approvals for high‑risk production changes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of networking, security, observability, and high‑availability architectures.
• Familiarity with service mesh and cloud-native design patterns.
• Familiarity with SRE practices (DORA metrics, uptime, MTTR).
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA) and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Contributions to cloud architecture standards, documentation, or technical communities.
• Knowledge of static code analysis tools (SonarQube, GHAS) and security practices (DAST, SAST).
• Experience supporting financial technology or procurement platforms.
