Job summary

Rapyder is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage AWS services, and maintain EKS-based deployments. You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible while upholding security and compliance standards.

You'll collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and SRE teams to improve automation and reliability, and you will document deployment processes to promote best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Expertise in Docker, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience managing microservices-based applications.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
• Manage and maintain Amazon EKS clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Administer and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, Route 53, ELB, and CloudWatch.
• Manage Linux-based EC2 instances supporting multiple applications.
• Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
• Monitor infrastructure health, application performance, and security using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Enforce DevSecOps best practices, IAM policies, RBAC, and secrets management.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and SRE teams to improve deployment automation and infrastructure reliability.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and deployment processes while promoting DevOps best practices across teams.

Required Experience

• Strong understanding of Linux administration.


• Experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, and infrastructure monitoring.


• Ability to optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.


• Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD or equivalent) is preferred.
