Job summary

Dextr AI in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure. You will automate infrastructure with IaC, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and manage services like EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

You will deploy Docker containers with Kubernetes/EKS and monitor performance and security across environments. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to streamline releases, troubleshoot issues, and drive cost

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Good experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git and Git-based development workflows.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, security, networking, VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancing.
• Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Understanding of deployment strategies such as blue-green, rolling, and Canary deployments.
• Good understanding of cloud security, availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced product engineering environment.

• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or other observability platforms.


• Experience with Ansible or configuration management tools.


• Exposure to AI/GenAI/LLM-based applications and cloud infrastructure.


• Experience using AI-assisted development/DevOps tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
