Job summary

ZS is seeking a Cloud Observability Administrator to join our operations team. You’ll work with engineers to monitor, secure, and optimize our SaaS/Cloud data platform while contributing to automation and new monitoring capabilities.

You will review logs and metrics, develop Splunk-based insights, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for our clients worldwide. Fluency in English and a client-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• ZS welcomes candidates with degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years working as Splunk Developer/Admin.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, initiative and drive to contribute in a dynamic environment.
• Experience building automation using Bash/PowerShell/Python.
• Splunk/APM tools certifications such as Splunk Power User/Splunk Admin.
• Knowledge of AWS concepts and working with Splunk AWS addon.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools like Datadog.
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Review machine logs, operational and performance data to look for patterns, create insights, and configure systems to automatically trigger on those insights.
• Support current and future SIEM/APM tools (Splunk, Uptrends, Datadog).
• Provide day-to-day support for all tools to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the SaaS/Cloud data platform.
• Create, define, and document our system processes, configurations, and upgrade process across Monitoring Tools.
• Write regular expressions to extract interesting fields in Splunk.
• Write complex Splunk queries to help team gain insights into their data.
• Assist with building advanced dashboards and alerts.

As a Cloud Observability Administrator you will be an individual contributor and subject matter expert who will be working with a team of operations engineers and software developers to support and enhance our data collection and analysis capabilities used to monitor, maintain, and nurture our SaaS/Cloud environment.

What you’ll do:
