Job summary

ZS Associates is a management consulting and technology firm enabling life-changing outcomes for patients, caregivers, and consumers in INDIA. The Business Technology Solutions Associate role focuses on data-driven technology delivery, MDM, and cloud-enabled solutions, with hybrid work and travel to client sites as needed.

You will join a global team delivering enterprise-wide transformation through digital and technology advisory, product and platform development, and data implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant consulting experience delivering technology solutions.
• Knowledge in Informatica MDM/ PIM/ STIBO MDM/ Reltio.
• 1+ year of MDM or data experience.
• 1+ year in Data Analysis or Data Quality Analysis.
• Unit test of MDM code.
• Customizations with Java/JavaScript or similar.
• Proficient in writing SQL for data analysis.
• Willing to cross-train on multiple tools.
• Translate functional/nonfunctional requirements to system specs.
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English and client-first mindset.
• Strong work ethic and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive project phases from planning to delivery.
• Translate business requirements to technical design and manage solution delivery.
• Apply agile/waterfall methodologies and QA practices for timely delivery.
• Partner with project/program leads on plans, staffing and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with global team for seamless communication and task sharing.
• Lead and mentor junior team members in the project.
• Plan tasks and distribute work ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Deliverables: business case, design, requirements, mockups, prototypes, architecture, test plans, deployment and operations planning.
• Manage client communications as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Undertake primary ownership in driving self and team effort across all phases of a project lifecycle;
  Translate business requirements into technical terms and drive team effort to design, build and manage technology solutions that solve business problems;
  Apply appropriate development methodologies (e.g.: agile, waterfall) and best practices (e.g.: mid-development client reviews, embedded QA procedures, unit testing) to ensure successful and timely completion;
  Partner with Project lead/ Program lead in delivering projects and assist in project management responsibility like - project plans, people management, staffing and risk mitigation;
  Collaborate with other team members across the globe and ensure seamless communication and sharing/ undertaking tasks;
  Manage team of diverse skill sets (programmer, cloud analyst, BI developer, reporting, operations, etc.); Mentor/coach the junior members in the team;
  Lead task planning and task distribution across team members and ensure timely completion with high quality and report accurate status to seniors;
  Lead the project deliverables such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes, and technical architecture, test cases, deployment plans, operations strategy and planning, etc.;
  Manage direct / indirect client communications as per the assigned responsibility in the project;
• Exhibit outlook to bring continuous improvement, innovation and exhibit capability to learn new areas (technology, business domain, project management process) and drive the similar effort of team members:
• Understand the problem statement, client requirements and design and build complex solutions using Programing languages, ETL platform, etc;
• Ability to take right and timely decision on problem solving by considering broader picture, especially on approach, technical nuances and planning.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines;
  1-3 years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements:
• Knowledge in developing and configuring code in Informatica MDM/ Informatica PIM/ STIBO MDM/ Reltio
• 1 or more years of MDM or related Data experience
• 1 or more years of experience in Data Analysis or Data Quality Analysis
• Unit Test developed MDM code
• Create customizations with Java, JavaScript, or other applicable avenues
• Proven abilities in writing SQL queries to retrieve data for data analysis
• The candidates may be asked to cross-train and work on more than one tool
• Ability to translate functional / nonfunctional requirements to systems requirements
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.

Additional Skills

• 0-3+ years of relevant professional experience in delivering small/medium-scale technology solutions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey results and issues to internal and client teams Familiarity with Big Data Concepts and Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform

• Understanding of productivity tools such as co-pilot and SQL generation

• Travel to other offices as required to collaborate with clients or internal project teams
