Job summary

ZS in Pune, India is seeking a Cloud Administrator to deploy and manage a cloud-based platform for AWS across multiple accounts. The role collaborates with Engineering and Security to ensure secure, scalable cloud architectures and supports Terraform-driven provisioning and CI/CD deployments.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of AWS experience, strong communication skills, and a client-first mindset. Hybrid work arrangement with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EE with strong academic record.
• 1–3 years of AWS and on-premise infrastructure security administration experience.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of AWS infrastructure across Prod, Stage, and Dev environments.
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM).
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based apps.
• Monitor health and cost metrics using AWS tools (CloudWatch, Cost Explorer).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Data teams to enable scalable cloud architectures.
• Support infrastructure provisioning using Terraform modules and templates.
• Assist drift detection and remediation to align desired and actual states.
• Contribute to automation of repetitive tasks and CI/CD deployments.

Cloud Administrator / AWS

We seek a professional IT administrator to join our Pune, India office. This role is responsible for deploying and administering a cloud-based computing platform within ZS.

What you'll do: Cloud Administratorin the Enterprise will…

• Manage day-to-day operations of AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments (Prod, Stage, Dev).
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EMR, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
• Monitor system health, utilization, and cost metrics using AWS-native tools (CloudWatch, Cost Explorer, etc.).
• Perform regular operational activities including access management, resource optimization, patching coordination, and service requests.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Data teams to enable secure and scalable cloud architectures.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform modules and templates.
• Assist in maintaining consistency between desired and actual cloud states (drift detection and remediation)
• Contribute to automation of repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable infrastructure deployment and updates
  
  

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE with record of high academic achievement.
• 1-3 years of experience in AWS and on-premise infrastructure security administration.
• Experience on participating MLPS and understanding of related controls is a plus.
• Possess strong verbal, written and team presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work within a global (US and India) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
