Overview
Trintech, an award‑winning AI‑driven Fintech SaaS organization, seeks a Cloud Engineering Manager to lead DevOps and cloud infrastructure teams. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes/AKS, and web application deployments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps engineers.
- Influence the design and implementation of a new Azure environment focused on Kubernetes, AKS, and web application deployments.
- Provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, observability, security, and operational readiness.
- Drive infrastructure‑as‑code standards and implementation using Terraform and related automation practices.
- Partner with architecture, security, application, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure cloud platforms meet requirements.
- Establish and maintain cloud engineering standards, best practices, documentation, and operational processes.
- Lead planning, prioritization, and execution of cloud infrastructure initiatives aligned to business and technology objectives.
- Gather, analyze, and report key metrics and KPIs related to cloud delivery, reliability, capacity, performance, and team execution.
- Communicate project status, operational risks, blockers, and escalations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor, coach, and develop technical team members across multiple disciplines and experience levels.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, change management, compliance, capacity planning, and platform readiness activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7‑10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure, cloud operations, DevOps, systems engineering, or related technical roles.
- Experience leading, managing, or mentoring technical teams in a cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, or operations environment.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and public cloud fundamentals.
- Experience designing, implementing, or supporting Kubernetes‑based platforms, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code concepts and hands‑on experience with Terraform.
- Strong infrastructure knowledge across networking, DNS, Active Directory, identity, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and related IT services.
- Experience supporting web application deployment architectures in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and report metrics and KPIs to leadership and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical status to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage escalations, communicate risks, and drive resolution across teams.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, CI/CD, operational readiness, and cloud platform lifecycle management.
