Job summary

Trintech Solutions Private Limited (India) is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to architect and manage enterprise Kubernetes clusters, both on-premises and in managed services. You will work with cross-functional teams to size deployments and ensure security controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps and 3+ years Kubernetes, with proficiency in multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD (Azure Pipelines), OpenShift, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an enterprise Dev/Ops role; 3+ years Kubernetes administration/development.
• Expertise with on-premises and managed Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and native Kubernetes services.
• Proficient in CI/CD, including Azure Pipelines or similar.
• Experience with Kubernetes hardening and security best practices.
• Familiarity with networking, security, and database concepts.
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Experience with Microservices.

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with cross functional teams to understand requirements and provide input to solutions. Architect an enterprise level Kubernetes cluster. This will include analysis of the performance requirements and sizing exercises. Ensure compliance with security policies and practices, including the management or roles, secrets, and access controls Create and maintain and support enterprise level Kubernetes cluster. The ideal candidate will be capable of building on-premises and managed clusters. Perform traditional Dev/Ops to support 24X7 production environments. Provide on-call support to cross-functional ‘follow-the-sun’ teams supporting production. Identifying and resolving issues promptly. Champion best practices and continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing architectures, systems and processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to additional team members.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise Dev/Ops role / 3+ years of Kubernetes administration/development
• Expertise with on-premises and managed Kubernetes cluster administration/development
• Expertise with multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and GCP using their native Kubernetes platform (EKS, AKS, GKE, etc.)
• Proficient with CI/CD including the development and maintenance of Azure Pipelines or similar deployment technologies
• Experience with Kubernetes hardening or cybersecurity best practices
• Familiarity with networking, security, database concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Experience with Microservices.
