Role Description

About the Role

LinkedERP is looking for a Cloud Inventory Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ERP integrations, SQL databases, APIs, and inventory management systems. This is a hands‑on technical role focused on implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Cloud Inventory solutions for enterprise clients across Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Engineering industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be comfortable working directly with databases, APIs, ERP platforms, mobile inventory applications, and integration troubleshooting.

MUST‑HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS (NON‑NEGOTIABLE)

• SQL Server and/or Oracle Database
• Advanced SQL Querying (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, UPDATE, Stored Procedures)
• REST APIs and SOAP Web Services
• Database Troubleshooting and Data Validation
• Mobile Inventory/WMS Solutions
• System Integration Testing and UAT Support

Candidates without hands‑on experience in SQL, APIs, ERP integrations, and database troubleshooting will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Implementation
  • Configure and customize Cloud Inventory solutions based on client requirements.
  • Design and deploy mobile inventory workflows, barcode scanning processes, and warehouse operations solutions.
  • Configure enterprise printing, labeling, and inventory tracking solutions.
  • Perform advanced system configuration and technical troubleshooting.
• ERP & System Integrations
  • Design and implement integrations between Cloud Inventory and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and similar systems.
  • Develop and troubleshoot API‑based integrations.
  • Validate and transform data using JSON, XML, and EDI standards.
  • Investigate and resolve integration failures and data synchronization issues.
• Database & Technical Support
  • Write complex SQL queries for data validation, testing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze database structures, tables, relationships, and integration logs.
  • Support SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
  • Perform root cause analysis for system and integration issues.
  • Conduct technical workshops and solution design sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical configurations.
  • Support UAT, Go‑Live, Hypercare, and Post‑Implementation activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and integration specifications.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in ERP, WMS, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain software implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle Database.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration frameworks.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience with inventory, warehouse management, mobile data capture, barcode scanning, and RFID technologies.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical and integration issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud Inventory / DSI (Data Systems International).
• Knowledge of Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Control processes.
• Cloud Inventory Certification (preferred).
• Experience working in Manufacturing, Mining, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas, or Engineering industries.
