Job summary

### Your TaskThis role involves providing comprehensive system administration and technical support in a hybrid Azure environment. The position requires **a minimum of 10 years of experience in hands-on system administration** with expertise in Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Azure services.#### Key Responsibilities* Undertake Issue Resolution, Problem Management, and Change Management activities in line with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)* Execute BAU maintenance and management tasks to promote an efficient, secure, and reliable infrastructure services environment* Facilitate system backup procedures and manage Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity processes in the event of system failures* Plan, design, build, test, and deploy systems according to project requirements, architecture principles, and technology standards* Develop systems operations handbooks, knowledge base articles, and system documentation to support information sharing* Create, document, and deploy task automation to improve BAU process efficiency using tools such as PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code solutions* Conduct system compliance reporting and vulnerability assessments to prioritize remediation activities and security patching* Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to address gaps in infrastructure services capability### Your ProfileWe are looking for an experienced **IT Systems Administrator** with strong proficiency in Windows Server, Azure services, and cloud technologies, along with solid experience in system administration and infrastructure management.#### Must Have Skills* Strong proficiency in Windows Server Operating Systems with comprehensive administrative and troubleshooting expertise* Experience with Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy* Experience with Azure AD, Azure Update Manager, and Azure Defender for identity access and system management* Experience in implementing Azure Services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) following best practices* Experience administering Microsoft Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams* Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Service Management Processes* Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems for basic administration and maintenance* Ability to collaborate with third-party vendors and remote support teams* Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively* Experience in cloud migration projects (planning, execution, and support)* Understanding of Database Administration including knowledge of SQL Server and SQL PaaS services* Experience in virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, HCI)* Experience with network administration, configuration, and monitoring* Knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices* Experience using ARM templates for configuration management, automation, and orchestration* Cybersecurity certifications* Understanding of Project Management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2)* Familiarity with architecture frameworks for system design and enterprise-level planning* Experience working in environments aligned to governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO27001)* Understanding of Business Process Management and integration with Applications and Data* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Clear and concise communication skills in written and spoken English* Ability to translate between technical terms and business language* Good interpersonal skills for building relationships with business users and technical teams* Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technology* Bachelor's degree in Information Communication Technology or equivalent* Microsoft Certifications on the Azure Platform (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-500)* Minimum 10 years experience in hands-on system administration* Proven experience implementing and managing Azure Services (IaaS, PaaS)* Proven experience working with Hybrid Azure environments#### Nice to Have Skills* Experience with PowerShell scripting for task automation* Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions (ARM templates)* Experience with system compliance reporting and vulnerability assessments* Experience evaluating new technologies and making recommendations#### Company Introduction – T-Systems ICT India Pvt.
