Job summary

Insight is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to join our team in a hybrid role across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. You will provide expert cloud engineering support, drive optimization, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud or AWS.
• Any one Certifications: AZ-104; AZ-700; AWS Cloud Practitioner; AWS SysOps Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise for customers' cloud environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and storage.
• Analyze performance and troubleshoot cloud services; recommend optimization strategies.
• Handle incidents and requests within SLAs with proper documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis and prepare incident reports.
• Assist with knowledge base articles and best practice guides.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Assist with cloud migrations and cost optimization.

About the team

Our teamis responsible forproviding expert guidance and support to clients in the implementation and management of Microsoft 365 solutions. We work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized solutions that meet their specific requirements. Our goal is to help clients maximize the value of their investment in Microsoft 365 by providing innovative solutions that improve productivity, collaboration, and security. Our team conducts assessments of client environments toidentifyopportunities for improvement and optimization, develops and delivers training programs and materials to clients to ensure successful adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions, and collaborates with other consultants and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

As a Cloud engineer III, you'll be responsible for-

• Provide technical support and expertise for customers cloud environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, storage.
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance-related problems in cloud services and recommend optimization strategies.
• Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed incident reports to prevent recurring issues.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles, FAQs, and best practice guides.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
• Support customers with cloud migrations, VMware on Azure, Cost Optimization and performance tuning.
• Assist in implementing security measures to protect multi-cloud infrastructure, platforms and applications.
• Assist with regular maintenance and vulnerability remediation to security the infrastructure.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience in enterprise or consulting environments
• Strong working knowledge in Azure/AWS cloud.
• Strong working knowledge in Windows server/Linux along with configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge in Active directory, DNS and its components.
• Strong knowledge in Azure Firewall, Route tables, WAF.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Azure governance constructs: Management Groups, Azure Policy, RBAC, and Deployment Stacks

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or Information Technology
• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud or AWS
• Any one Certifications: AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate/AZ-700: Design and Implementing Networking Solutions/AWS Cloud Practitioner/AWS SysOps Administrator
