Job summary

Point72's Technology team in Bengaluru is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. This role focuses on IaC with Terraform, cloud networking, and security, with close collaboration to automate deployments and optimize performance.

You will work on cost management, security controls, and platform tooling, contributing to the technical roadmap within an enterprise agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Proven automation experience with IaC tools (Terraform).
• Experience with Python programming.
• Hands-on with AWS/GCP/Azure services.
• Understanding of cloud security principles.
• Kubernetes familiarity and container orchestration.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage and optimize foundational cloud platform for AWS/GCP/Azure: IAM, VPC, security controls.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Manage and optimize foundational platform for AWS/GCP/Azure services including IAM, Virtual Private Cloud networking, Cloud Security controls and policies, Cloud platform tools and automation to ensure scale, performance and security.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment and operational processes.
• Monitor cloud environments to maintain high availability and security standards.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap for cloud solutions.
• Implement best practices for cloud resource optimization and cost management.

What's Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure design and automation with optional experience in cloud networking.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
• Experience of software development in Python.
• Strong experience with AWS/GCP/Azure services such as Virtual Private Clouds, Cloud Storage solutions (S3, GCS), Cloud Connectivity solutions such as DirectConnect, Transit Gateway, Serverless compute and platform tooling such as AWS Lambda.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification a plus.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Coreweave a plus.
• Familiarity with container orchestration and management tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
