Job summary

GSR Business Services is seeking a DevOps/Data Engineering professional to design and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS, implement IaC pipelines, and build scalable data architectures. The role emphasizes modern DevOps practices, data integration, and robust backend services.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud or Data Engineering, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. Knowledge of Snowflake and Power BI is a plus.

Job description

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (AWS certification preferred).

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub.

Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals and IT security best practices.

Experience designing and operating data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Power BI, or similar modern data platforms.

Knowledge of databases, SQL, data modeling, and data architecture concepts.

Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and enterprise applications.

Experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS and/or Azure.

Experience & Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.

4-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical roles.

Demonstrated experience delivering cloud, automation, data, or digital transformation initiatives.
