Job summary

Accenture Song in Kochi is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer Senior Analyst to operate an e-commerce solution across on‑prem and cloud infrastructure. You will ensure site reliability, respond to incidents, and drive platform improvements while supporting agile delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of Linux/Windows systems experience, strong cloud skills (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Collaboration with global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience with installation, configuration and management of Linux and Windows systems.
• Strong working experience in managing and maintaining public clouds like AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring tools and cloud provisioning tools; scripting is a plus.

Your Role

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be operating an e-commerce solution built over on-prem and cloud infrastructure. You will be involved in maintaining and improving the client’s business platforms. You will be responsible for the site reliability and platform stability. You will be expected to respond to incidents, support on problems, execute changes and be part of a project to improve or reengineer the platform.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To collaborate with specialist teams within the organization and third-party suppliers, to deliver outstanding results for our clients
• Actively participate in our shift-left strategy via tools, automation, process and self-service functions to empower the business and other IT teams
• Strong business communication skills with stakeholders
• Configure and optimize hybrid and cloud native systems
• Major incident management within our SLA scope
• Maintaining data integrity and access control by making use of operational tools
• Strategize Cloud cost optimization
• Proactively identify preventive mechanisms to mitigate risk of service disruptions
• Demonstrate a proactive way of working by anticipating operational needs, identifying risks and improvement opportunities early, and taking ownership of preventive actions through to completion
• Major vulnerability patching, system upgrades/migrations and reporting
• Execute/coordinate root cause analysis of P1/P2 incidents
• Plan and manage major deployments
• Develop automation scripts as needed to enhance operational efficiencies
• Ensure training material and technical documentation on new and existing operating process are kept up-to-date
• Reporting key metrics to the service manager
• Participate and contribute to our Agile way of working including planning, retrospectives and showcases
• Document and track issues and reasonable steps taken within the ticket management system
• You must be willing to work in shifts.

Professional and Technical Skills

• You must have a strong technical aptitude and an organized, process driven work ethic.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience with installation, configuration and management of Linux and Windows systems.

• Strong working experience in managing and maintaining public clouds like AWS, Azure or GCP.

• Strong experience in setting up and configuring monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix etc

• Strong Experience with installation/configuration of Java application servers such as Jboss/WebLogic/Tomcat and analysing application logs, GC logs for troubleshooting performance and functional issues.

• Strong experience with log management tools such as ELK, Loki etc.
• Hands on experience in cloud provisioning tools like Terraform/CloudFormation will be an added advantage

• Hands on experience with Docker/Kubernetes will be an added advantage

• Experience in any scripting language such as Python etc. will be an added advantage

• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB/MongoDB/Cassandra/Redis

• You willhave strong written and verbal communications skills and a track record for providing high customer satisfaction.

• Has prior experience in Jira/Confluence or any other service management tool

• Prior experience working in Agile environment will be an advantage.
• An understanding of ITIL practices would be ideal
