Job summary

Accenture Kochi is seeking a Cloud Administrator to join the ACS SONG team. You will work with senior engineers to maintain the infrastructure/cloud environment and support multiple clients with 24x7 monitoring and incident response.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience and hands-on Linux/Windows administration, with knowledge of CI/CD, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools. Shift-based work including holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation completed
• 2–3 years of experience in cloud/infra admin
• Must have Linux/Windows admin experience
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and cloud concepts
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix) and scripting

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications 24x7x365 for multiple clients
• Respond to incidents and service requests; support minor changes
• Escalate to Level 2/3 engineers as needed
• Manage tickets and communicate with stakeholders
• Maintain backups and perform patching/update activities
• Collaborate with team to follow procedures and SLAs
• Assist in deployments and change management

Job Title - Cloud Administrator - Analyst - ACS SONG

Management Level: Level 11-Analyst

Location: Kochi

Must have skills: Installation, Configuration and management of Linux /Windows systems

Good to have skills:Grafana

Experience: 2 -3 years of experience is required

Educational Qualification: Graduation (Accurate educational details should capture)

Your Role

As a Cloud Administrator you will closely work with senior engineers to maintain the infrastructure/cloud environment. You will closely work with senior engineers to maintain the infrastructure/cloud environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support multiple clients by monitoring their applications 24x7x365


• Respond to incidents, service requests, and support on minor changes


• Escalate to the Level 2 and Level 3 engineers


• Review and manage tickets from various projects and also clients/stakeholders


• Require persistence, follow-up, effective communication and good customer service


• Use internal service desk system to enter and track requests, status, updates, resolution and generate report using them


• Perform system administration related to account creation, deletion and maintaining the catalog of access profiles


• Demonstrate ability to deliver the work within the defined SLA


• Work closely with team members to ensure procedures and escalations are followed and proactive communication occurs


• Support in minor changes and deployments


• Managing and monitoring backups


• Perform vulnerability monitoring and review and apply security fixes


• Review and apply patches and updates


• Willing to work in shifts that are rotated regularly including public holidays

Professional and Technical Skills

• Good knowledge in Linux Operating systems like RHEL, Centos.


• Must have a basic knowledge of computer networks & databases.


• Must have a basic understanding of CI/CD systems like Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines etc.


• Must have basic knowledge of Cloud Systems like AWS, Azure etc


• Experience in maintaining monitoring systems like Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.


• Must have hands-on experience in monitoring critical business applications.


• Must have a basic knowledge of scripting in Bash or Python.


• Basic understanding of Incident Management Process.


• Good to have experience in managing Application Performance Monitoring(APM) tools like Newrelic, Instana.


• Good to have a basic knowledge of web servers like Apache, Nginx.


• Good to have basic knowledge of virtualization & docker.


• Ability to work with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket etc.


• Good to have basic Kubernetes knowledge


• Good to have certification in RHCE


• Good problem solving and communication skills
