Job summary

Quest Global Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will automate software delivery with CI/CD pipelines and use IaC tools to provision resources.

The role requires 3+ years in DevOps, strong Kubernetes experience, and proficiency with Terraform and Docker. You will collaborate across engineering and security teams to ensure reliability, security, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proven work experience as a Cloud DevOps role with 3+ years on AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS services and DevOps concepts including CI/CD.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred) and Kubernetes-based infra.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps concepts and supporting infrastructure. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and configurations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure.
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud systems (AWS, Azure GCP)
• Ensuring standards and best practices are applied.
• Assessing current infrastructure and identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement hands on proof of concepts aimed towards automation and improvement of the platform.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams.
• Ensuring compliance with security and data protection policies.
• Implement automated deployment strategies for applications and services in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to streamline application deployment and scaling.
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and system failures.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve production issues efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the organization

Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems with at least 3 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering.
• Proven work experience as a Cloud DevOps or similar role with at least 3 years of experience on AWS and Google cloud platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS services and offerings.
• Excellent knowledge of DevOps concepts and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as a code - preferably Terraform.
• Experience with setup, administration and operations of Kubernetes based infrastructure
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
