We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for the implementation, automation, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across AWS and optionally GCP/Azure.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who can manage both on‑premises and cloud‑based infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure), design scalable system architectures, and streamline our deployment processes across multiple client projects.
This role requires a problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can lead DevOps best practices while driving performance, cost‑efficiency, and automation across the board.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers and networking components across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
- Must have hands‑on experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, etc., and be able to configure the virtual hosts inside any web server.
- Good understanding of domain and DNS, SSL configurations, etc.
- Familiarity with GCP and Azure platforms for hybrid cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Manage Git repositories, enforce branching strategies, and support development teams with efficient deployment practices.
Containerization & Infrastructure as Code
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
- Manage container orchestration through Kubernetes (EKS or self‑hosted).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Terraform or other IaC tools.
Database & Caching
- Manage PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB databases with replication, scaling, and backup strategies.
- Hands‑on experience with Redis clusters, Elasticsearch, and Amazon OpenSearch for caching, indexing, and search functionalities.
- Configure system monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Implement network security, data encryption, and IAM best practices for secure operations.
- Conduct regular system health checks, performance tuning, and compliance audits.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell to streamline operational workflows.
- Promote automation‑first practices for build, test, and deployment environments.
- Design and document ER diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and server topology diagrams using tools such as draw.io, Lucidchart, or AI‑based diagram tools.
- Generate architecture blueprints for client projects to ensure scalability, security, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams (MEAN, MERN, Java, .NET, Mobile, IoT) to support smooth deployment and troubleshooting.
- Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices, culture, and automation mindset.
- Provide technical recommendations and assist in cost optimization and capacity planning for clients.
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and AI‑driven automation practices.
- Continuously enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Able to provide the cost‑effective solution to the client.
- Quick learner for any new technology deployment on the server.
- Stay current with industry trends and introduce modern DevOps tools and practices.
- Ability to handle client interviews with strong communication.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- 4‑6 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools — Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket.
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM and many more).
- Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Excellent understanding of Linux systems, networking, and DNS management.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis clusters, Elasticsearch, and Amazon OpenSearch.
- Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams (ERD, System, Server) using draw.io, Lucidchart, or AI tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and client interaction abilities.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Azure or GCP cloud environments is a plus.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or Terraform Associate are advantageous.
- Capable of leading and mentoring a junior DevOps team, ensuring best practices and efficient delivery.
