Qualifications

• Hands-on with ITIL; certifications preferred.

Role & responsibilities

1. Operations & Service Management

• Oversee daily operations across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes for recurring issues.

2. Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead and mentor L1/L2/L3 engineering teams.
• Manage workforce planning, shift schedules, and resource utilization.
• Conduct performance reviews and training for continuous skill improvement.

3. Process Governance & Compliance

• Maintain operational SOPs, runbooks, and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, SOC, ITIL, security, and audit requirements.
• Implement process automation and best practices to improve operational maturity.

4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cloud providers, OEMs, and service partners.
• Manage vendor SLAs and ensure timely delivery of services.

5. Continuous Improvement & Transformation

• Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency (e.g., scripts, workflows).
• Implement monitoring, observability, and operational tooling enhancements.
• Contribute to digital transformation and cloud modernization roadmaps.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in IT operations, cloud operations, or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP, virtualization, networking, and security.
• Hands-on with ITIL frameworks; ITIL certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decisionmaking capabilities
• Experience managing large-scale cloud/hybrid environments.
• Certification in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Experience in automation (PowerShell, Python, DevOps pipelines).
