Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Cloud Delivery Engineer with 9+ years of experience in IaC-driven cloud infrastructure. You will design Terraform modules, build Ansible playbooks, and own end-to-end cloud delivery across GCP environments.

You will integrate Terraform and Ansible with CI/CD pipelines, enforce least-privilege IAM via code, and collaborate with security teams to embed controls. Strong Linux and shell scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong IaC focus.
• Expert-level Terraform skills including module development, remote state, workspaces, and provider management
• Strong Ansible experience including roles, inventories, dynamic inventories, and Ansible Vault
• Solid GCP knowledge covering core services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL
• Experience managing GCP IAM programmatically using Terraform
• Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD integration for infrastructure pipelines
• Understanding of GCP networking: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, and DNS
• Experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting

Responsibilities

• Integrate Terraform and Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Implement GCP IAM policies as code, enforcing least-privilege access across environments
• Manage Terraform state backends using GCS and enforce module versioning and registry standards
• Perform infrastructure drift detection and remediation using Ansible and Terraform plan workflows
• Build reusable Terraform modules and Ansible collections for delivery teams
• Collaborate with security teams to embed compliance controls into pipelines
• Support GKE cluster provisioning and day-2 operations using Terraform and Helm
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide IaC recommendations for new GCP workloads
• Contribute to internal developer platform tooling for self-service cloud provisioning

Your Role

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Delivery Engineer having min. 9 years of experience with deep expertise in Terraform and Ansible to automate, provision, and deliver infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role is central to enabling fast, reliable, and repeatable cloud delivery across engineering teams, with a strong focus on infrastructure-as-code and configuration management excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules for GCP infrastructure including GKE, Cloud SQL, Networking, IAM, and GCS
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and operational automation
• Own the end-to-end cloud delivery pipeline: provisioning, configuration, testing, and deployment to production
