Job summary

Capgemini India is hiring a Technical Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of cloud engineering programmes on Google Cloud Platform. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud engineers, IAM specialists, GKE admins, and ML engineers to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery with high quality.

The role requires deep GCP experience, strong delivery management skills, and familiarity with Vertex AI and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technology delivery experience, with at least 3 years managing GCP cloud delivery programmes.
• Solid technical background across GCP services, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of 8+ engineers in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of GCP IAM, security principles, and compliance in cloud delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of GCP cloud programmes from initiation to go-live and hypercare.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams including cloud engineers, IAM specialists, GKE admins, and ML engineers.
• Manage programme roadmaps, delivery plans, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• Drive Agile/Scrum delivery ceremonies and ensure velocity and quality across squads.
• Provide technical oversight across GCP workstreams including IAM governance, GKE platform, Vertex AI, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Coordinate release planning, environment and change management processes.
• Embed DevSecOps practices and champion quality gates throughout the SDLC.
• Support pre-sales and solution scoping with technical proposals and effort estimation.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of cloud engineering programmes on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires a balance of strong technical depth across GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AI/ML tooling, combined with outstanding delivery management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of GCP cloud programmes, from initiation through to go-live and hypercare
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams including cloud engineers, IAM specialists, GKE administrators, and ML engineers
• Manage programme roadmaps, delivery plans, RAID logs, and stakeholder reporting at executive and working levels
• Drive Agile/Scrum delivery ceremonies and ensure engineering squads maintain velocity and quality
• Provide technical oversight across GCP workstreams including IAM governance, GKE platform, Vertex AI, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible)
• Act as escalation point for technical delivery blockers and facilitate resolution with architecture and engineering leads
• Coordinate release planning, environment management, and change management processes
• Manage relationships with GCP account teams, third-party vendors, and internal business stakeholders
• Define and track KPIs and SLAs for cloud delivery programmes and platform operations
• Embed DevSecOps practices into delivery teams and champion quality gates throughout the SDLC
• Support pre-sales and solution scoping activities, contributing to technical proposals and effort estimation
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tooling, and team capability

Your Profile

• 6+ years of technology delivery experience, with at least 3 years managing GCP cloud delivery programmes
• Solid technical background spanning GCP services, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams of 8+ engineers in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of GCP IAM, security principles, and compliance requirements in cloud delivery contexts
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery frameworks and associated tooling (Jira, Confluence)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Understanding of cloud financial management, cost optimisation, and budgetary governance
• Familiarity with Vertex AI and ML delivery pipelines at an oversight level
