Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or large-scale data platform design.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience building data lakes and data warehouses with Snowflake/Redshift/Synapse.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced data modeling.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, metadata, and master data management.
• Experience with DevOps and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOX).
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership for cross-functional teams.

• Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that manage appropriate data volumes and adhere to security measures

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or large-scale data platform design
• Deep expertise in one or more major cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms leveraging tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, or equivalent technologies
• Hands-on experience with modern data processing frameworks and technologies including Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and related ecosystems
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced data modeling techniques
• Comprehensive understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management principles
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, SOX, and enterprise security controls
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business audiences
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex technology transformation initiatives
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications preferred
• Experience supporting large-scale regulatory, risk, cybersecurity, or enterprise data initiatives
