Job summary

Cipher Oncology Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad urgently seeks a Dietitian/Nutritionist to support cancer treatment through specialized nutrition care. You will educate patients and caregivers, plan diet charts, and help track progress.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to travel or work extended hours when required. Experience in critical care nutrition is preferred; cancer nutrition is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in nutrition for critical care patients; cancer nutrition is an advantage.
• Experience in a clinical setting, such as a hospital or healthcare facility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with doctors and other medical staff to support patient conditions.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of nutritional science and dietary guidelines.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and educate patients and caregivers on merits of following an appropriate diet to support cancer treatment.
• Plan and prepare diet charts as per patient condition and requirement.
• Guide patients and caregivers on recording their dietary intake and activities to help track recovery progress.
• Use counselling techniques to guide patients who cannot follow plans and suggest alternatives after senior approval.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude, willing to extend hours in emergencies and travel as needed.
• Stay updated with current nutritional science research and participate in community health programs.

• Plan and prepare diet charts as per patient condition and requirement.
• Guide patients and caregivers on recording their dietary intake and activities on a regular basis to help track patient recovery progress.
• Use effective counselling techniques to guide patients who are unable to follow suggested diet plans and suggest an alternate course of action after approval from the senior dietician.
• Should be a team player with a positive attitude, willing to work on extended hours in case of emergency and flexible to travel as per requirement.
• Stay updated with current nutritional science research and trends and participate in community health programs and outreach initiatives.
