Job summary

Premier Healthcare Provider is seeking a IT communications coordinator to act as the liaison between departments and Information Systems for application requests and issues. The role involves applying structured analysis to operational requirements and delivering fully tested systems that meet functional needs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor in Information Systems or a related health field, with 3+ years in healthcare IT, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Serve as the communicator and coordinator between assigned departments and Information Systems for all application related requests and issues. Insure that the system, meets the specified functional requirements via a complete and fully tested system.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Health Care Related field, or Nursing, from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.

Experience : Minimum of three (3) years experience in a health care institution or system. Participation in a clinical information systems implementation cycle preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years experience with PC-based (Windows, MS Office, Relational Databases, word processing and spreadsheet) applications. Excellent verbal and written skills to interface and negotiate with physicians, office staff, care management staff, vendors, nursing staff, and outside customers...Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical diagnosis, and procedures generally acquired through education and/or experience in health care related environment preferred
