Job summary

Growth For Impact seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to the transition to renewable energy by working with high voltage and high current in complex technical problems. You will engage in projects, tenders, base and R&D work, and verify HVDC station design across multiple technical aspects.

You will interface with multiple departments, ensuring mutual understanding of needs and fostering collaboration to achieve the best outcomes, while ensuring compliance with regulations and

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Layout Engineering, electrical and Mechanical Calculations, understanding and design of Grounding, Lightning, Insulation and EMF Studies
  • Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards is preferred
  • Proven skills in using computers as a calculation tool
  • Experience of power system simulation tools such as CDGES, COMSOL, AutoCAD, NX is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc
  • Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill, fluent in English
