Job summary

Eide Bailly LLP is seeking a Payroll Professional to join our team in Maharashtra. You will process live or post-processed payroll for clients, manage time sheets, deductions, and ensure accurate payroll tax deposits across states.

Your role requires knowledge of federal and state payroll laws, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. You will collaborate with an outsourced accounting team to deliver timely services and supports multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with processing payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes live or after-the-fact payroll for our clients.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax filing and reporting, garnishments and child support rules and calculations, taxes for multiple states, and taxability of employee benefits.
• Updates payroll systems with new and terminated employee information, pay rates and deductions.
• Collects, reviews, and verifies time sheets and direct deposit input.
• Prepares payroll tax deposits and other payroll reports as required, including issuing Form 941, Form 940, Form 943 and W2s.
• Work closely with assigned outsourced accounting team to help ensure client success and timely delivery of services.
• Provides back up support as needed to other BOS team members and their clients.
• Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
• Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
