Job summary

EXL is seeking a Claims Analytics Specialist in India to drive reporting and business intelligence initiatives with hands-on Power BI development. You will design dashboards, model data, and implement analytics across the claims lifecycle for stakeholders.

The role requires strong BI skills, expertise in DAX and Power Query, and deep insurance domain knowledge to deliver reliable insights and scalable reporting solutions.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Drive claims reporting and analytics across the claims lifecycle, including claims operations, loss development, reserving, and claims performance.
• Build and optimize reporting solutions, KPIs, metrics, and performance dashboards for business stakeholders.
• Lead reporting transformation initiatives and improve reporting efficiency through automation and process optimization.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights in claims data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Support report deployment, refresh schedules, and ongoing maintenance.

Required Skills
