Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking an experienced BI/Data Engineer to build and maintain AWS-based ETL/ELT pipelines for reinsurance data and to develop comprehensive Power BI dashboards covering treaty performance, premiums, claims and bordereaux.

You will design star/snowflake data models, write complex SQL, optimise datasets with DAX/Power Query including RLS and incremental refresh, and collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims and finance teams while mentoring

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of BI development and data engineering experience in a related field
• Strong hands-on Power BI skills and advanced SQL with performance tuning
• Solid data modelling (data warehouse/data mart) and ETL/ELT experience; working knowledge of AWS tools
• Insurance or reinsurance domain knowledge (treaty/facultative, premiums, claims, bordereaux) desired
• Good to have: Python/PySpark, Airflow, Git CI/CD, Snowflake/dbt, and Power BI or AWS certification

Preferred candidate profile
