Job summary
Viraaj Ventures in India is seeking qualified Structural Engineers with 3–5 years of experience in structural design and drawings for cement plant buildings and other industrial structures, as well as high-rise residential and institutional projects.
The role requires hands-on FE modelling (STAAD Pro/SAP 2000/ETABS) for concrete and steel structures, along with AutoCAD drawings and BOM/cost estimates. Collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams is essential.
Qualifications
- BE in civil engineering with good grades; ME/M.Tech is a plus
- 3–5 years experience as Structural Engineer in cement plant/industrial buildings and high-rise projects
- Proficient with BIS codes; knowledge of Euro/US codes is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and civil design software
Responsibilities
- Review input reports and drawings and provide review comments
- FE modelling on STAAD.Pro/SAP2000/ETABS and prepare design reports
- Carry out design and prepare drawings with draftsman
- Prepare design calculations and related construction documents
- Prepare Bills of Quantity and cost estimates
- Review structural designs and drawings by third parties
- Coordinate with team, clients, contractors and project teams

Job description
We require qualified Structural Engineers who have 3-5 years of experience in structural design and drawings in the field of cement plant buildings/ other industrial buildings, high- rise residential buildings and institutional/ commercial/ industrial buildings.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from reputed institute with good grades.Master degree in Structural Engineering (ME/M. Tech) will be a plus
- Previous experience as a Structural Engineer in (Steel) fields
- Excellent knowledge of BIS building design codes and handbooks. Experience of design based on Euro/American coded will be a plus
- Hands on experience and proficiency in FE modelling on STAAD PRO/SAP 2000/ETABS for concrete and steel structures
- Hands on experience in design of all types of foundations and retaining walls
- Hands on experience on AutoCAD drawings
- Proficiency in MS office and other software's related to civil design.
- Review of input reports and drawings and making review comments

- Carrying out design and getting drawings prepared from draftsman
