Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience on large commercial projects involving infrastructural and building design.
• Ability to interpret complex contract documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Decision-making and recommendations on significant engineering problems with constructability reviews.
• Experience collecting data to brief clients on project issues and drafting responses to correspondence.
• Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall field contract management, administration and coordination.
• Ensure that the contractor's works are monitored and controlled in accordance with design specifications and contract Documents.
• Ensure monitoring on the quality of materials and workmanship installed, operated and maintained.
• Liaise with client, Project Management and contractor of resolution of project issues, in addition to concerned Authorities when required
• Supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.
• Liaise with all parties for site safety.
• Monitor assigned staff and implement on site procedures to assist them performing their work efficiently.
• Maintain awareness of contracts financial status.
• Coordinate for final approval to work and arrange handover

Qualifications

FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience on large commercial projects involving infrastructural and building design, with knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret complex contract documents including plans, specifications, shop drawings.
• Ability to make decisions and recommendations on significant engineering problems and review drawings, specifications and installation for constructability.
• Demonstrated ability to collect data to brief Client on project issues and provide possible resolutions in addition to reviewing and drafting responses to correspondence.
• Advance negotiation and presentation skills.
