Job summary

Asbri Energy is seeking a Civil QA/QC professional in India to lead the quality assurance on site. You will create and update the Project Quality Plan and manuals, write Method Statements, and draft ITPs to clearly define acceptance criteria.

You will conduct internal audits, manage document control, and supervise site inspections of concrete works and materials testing, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years total experience and at least 3 years in QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Create and update the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and manual.
• Write step-by-step Method Statements for new site activities.
• Draft Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to set clear acceptance criteria.
• Run internal quality audits and monitor staff or inspector training levels.
• Set up document control systems for tracking drawings and logs.
• Inspect daily civil works such as rebar, formwork, pouring concrete, and brickwork.
• Test core materials (soil, cement, steel, and concrete cubes) for strength and quality.
• Submit Material Approval Requests (MAR) before buying supplies.
• Raise Inspection Requests (IR/WIR) when a phase of work is ready for review.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Maintain logs for concrete slumps, cube tests, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate quality checks with external clients and consultants.
• Track corrective actions (CAR) to close open defects.
• Assist with the final punch list and compile the handover dossier.
• Able to involve in ISO documentation and preparing process manuals.
