Job summary

Amara Raja Infra(ARIPL) seeks a Civil Engineer to lead G+20 high-rise construction projects end-to-end, covering structural, architectural, and finishing works. You will plan, schedule, supervise field teams, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional groups to meet quality, safety, and budget targets.

The role requires deep knowledge of RCC frame structures, project planning, BOQ estimation, QA/QC, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil is essential.
• M.Tech in Civil is preferred.
• Experience in high-rise construction projects is required.
• Strong coordination with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute all civil works related to high-rise buildings.
• Monitor day-to-day construction activities to meet schedules.
• Coordinate structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Ensure execution per drawings, specs, and methods.
• Resolve site issues with consultants and design team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans.
• Monitor progress and identify delays with corrective actions.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and client/consultant inspections.

Job Purpose

To plan, execute, monitor, and deliver high-rise building construction activities in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and budget targets while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Execute all civil works related to high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use buildings.
• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate structural, architectural, and finishing works for timely completion.
• Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Resolve site execution issues in coordination with consultants and the design team.

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays with corrective action plans.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources.

Quality Management

• Ensure construction activities comply with project quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and ensure work conforms to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor cube tests, material quality, and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with clients and consultants.

Safety Management

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies.
• Promote safe working practices across all construction activities.
• Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions.

Contractor Management

• Monitor contractor productivity and performance.
• Verify contractor bills based on executed quantities.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met within the agreed timelines.

Cost & Billing

• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Review BOQs, quantities, and work measurements.
• Support billing, cost control, and budget monitoring activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain DPRs, quality records, site documentation, and MIS reports.
• Track project milestones and submit progress updates to management.
