Civil Engineer - Slope Stabilization & Ground Improvement
Summary: This role is critical to ensuring the structural integrity and long-term stability of infrastructure projects involving slopes, retaining systems, and ground improvement. The professional will be responsible for applying advanced geotechnical techniques to mitigate risks associated with soil movement and erosion, ensuring safe and durable construction outcomes. Responsibilities
- Execute slope stabilization and ground improvement projects using proven methods such as wire netting, soil nailing, micropiles, geotextiles, and grouting.
- Oversee the implementation of retaining structures and slope protection systems on-site.
- Manage project execution from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, engineering consultants, and contractors to align deliverables and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven hands‑on experience in slope stabilization, retaining structures, and ground improvement techniques including wire netting, soil nailing, micropiles, geotextiles, and grouting.
- Demonstrated experience in the execution of slope protection and ground improvement works.
- Strong project execution and site management capabilities with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
